BILL'S WAX DOLL!
Don't you think his eyes looks a bit weird??
Buzzworthy Frequent Commenter Tokio_Charlotte's Favorite Unofficial VMA Couples!
One of my very favey Buzzworthy commenters/ frequent "first"ers is tokio_charlotte, who, like me, likes Tokio Hotel, thumbdrives (I have a preposterous amount of them and just got a Little Britain one in the mail this morning. yay!), nail polish, and, most importantly, the Internet. But I also like her for reasons less selfish than the fact that we share the same impeccable taste. I also <3 tokio_charlotte because she emailed me an excellent rundown of her most favorite unofficial couples of the 2008 VMAs. And all she got was a lousy Moonman t-shirt. Thanks again, Charlotte! Take it away...
Top of the list: Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. Sure, Travis McCoy has dibs on Katy romantically, and Miley hates (and likes) "7 Things" about someone who may or may not be Nick Jonas, but Katy and Miley take the prize for Cutest Unofficial Couple. Katy and her mysterious "Special Guest" were all smiles and "feud? what feud?" on the red carpet. Though Katy did not get a taste of Miley's vanilla ChapStick® this time around, the fact that they both lost out to Tokio Hotel for Best New Artist can't hurt future chances. (I wouldn't expect more MyCy/TH Rock Band sessions anytime soon, unfortunately).
Second up is Tom Kaulitz and Nicole Scherzinger. Though this couple only exists in Tom's dreams, Nicole's gush about Tokio Hotel at the VMAs post-show says she's not exactly creeped out by his crush. Don't know if Tom's dream of a Tokio Hotel/Pussycat Dolls tour will happen, but let's not rule anything out.
And the third cutest couple? Maybe-Not-So-Crazy-Anymore Britney and her Moonman(s)! Girlfriend went from trainwreck "OMG did you see her" - in a bad way - to dazzling "OMG did you see her" - in the best way. Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Video of the Year, and Most Searched Person? Love it. Here's to hoping that things continue on the up on and up, and that next year's VMAs are going to be even better.

Tokio Hotel Worry Their English Isn't 'Cool' But Plan To Translate Next LP Anyway
Tokio Hotel Worry Their English Isn't 'Cool' But Plan To Translate Next LP Anyway
Fresh from their VMA win, the boys headed back to Germany to work on Scream follow-up.
Tokio Hotel just won the Best New Artist VMA on the strength of their first English-language album, Scream, and their popularity in the U.S. continues to grow. But though they've been touring in the States and making plenty of public appearances in English all year, the four young Germans say the language barrier is still quite a challenge for them - one they plan to tackle again as they work on their next LP.
"You know it was really hard to do a set, or even to do interviews in English, because in Europe, we always had a translator with us," 19-year-old lead singer Bill Kaulitz said. "I think it's really hard for me ... to sing in English, because it's not my mother tongue. I really wanted it to sound natural [on the album], so it took some time in the studio, and we always wanted to do it this way: first in German, then translate everything into English. The English record is a part of us, and we really wanted to go ahead with that."
Bill explained the difficulties of properly translating German slang. "We translate, or we want to, everything," Kaulitz said. "Of course, our German phrases like, 'big cinema,' it's 'grosses Kino' in German. This red carpet is grosses Kino. It's like, 'beautiful,' 'awesome.' "
But TH are determined to keep on honing their linguistic skills for their follow-up LP. "First, we write German songs, and we translate some to English," guitarist Tom Kaulitz said. "We have always German records and English records. I think that's the best way."
Tom said he worries that because their grasp on the language is so unfamiliar, they come off sounding uncool, or "too grown-up."
"Our vocabulary is just school English, so we have no slang, no cool words," he lamented.
The guys aren't going to let the language barrier get them down as they head back to the studio. "After America, we directly go back to the studio in Germany, and we are still in the creative process of our next record," Bill said. "So we're writing songs, and we'll be recording some stuff. So we have a lot of work, and then we do the new record, yeah. No, we have no ideas [what we might call the album]."
"But it will be a great name and an amazing album," Tom added confidently.
Here is a video that goes with this.

Interview with Tokio Hotel in Mexico.
Translation by pwrpuffgrl@THA.
Guy: How are you feeling here in Mexico?
Bill: We're very happy, we had a lot of fun onstage and we're just so happy to be here.
Guy: How did you get together as a band?
Tom: We met Georg and Gustav when we were 7 years old, we were together in various projects when we were younger, all of them had to do with music. Eight years ago we came together as a formal band.
Guy: How was your life as students in school?
Bill: It wasn't the best period of our lives, to be honest. Our grades weren't the best at all, they weren't bad but sometimes we got grounded because of them. Our time at school was never the best.
Guy: How do you see and feel all the mexican girls?
Tom: We are very happy to see all the girls, yesterday we saw around 5000 people at the autograph signing, that was great. Their welcome has been awesome.
Guy: In every group of friends there's always the slob, the leader, the one whose always late. Who are these people in the band?
Bill: Georg is always late.
Guy: Georg is saying that it isn't true...
Georg: I'm getting better in being on time.
Gustav: I'm the relaxed one.
Tom: I'm the sex symbol.
Guy: There are always embarrassing moments while you travel. Any moment you'd like to share?
Bill: We have a lot of embarrassing moments but what we always have are girls that sneak up to our hotel room, climbing two floors just to get to us from the outside.
Guy: We know you a little here in Mexico but we would like to know more. Why Tokio Hotel? You guys are from Germany.
Bill: We like big cities so we thought Tokio could be appropiate.
Guy: Well, Mexico City is a big city. You can name the band Mexico City Hotel
*everyone laugh*
Bill: And since traveling around the world was our dream, we chose the word hotel
Guy: What are your plans after Mexico?
Bill: We're flying to L.A. to continue the tour tonight and for the VMAs, we are nominated two times.
Guy: Thanks so much for coming. In two days is your b.day, what are you doing?
Tom: We don't know yet but it will surely be dirty!
*Then the guy starts talking about they make a concert for the station every year since 20 years ago and that they are honored to have TH*
Guy: Thanks again.
Tom: Muchas gracias.
Guy: Any words in spanish?
Gustav (yes, it's him): Como esta chica.
Tom: Hola. Muchas gracias. Te quiero puta (puta is an offensive word so obviously the guy didn't translate that hahaha)
Georg: No.
Bill: Viva Mexico!
Tom with his Iphone!!

Bravo nr.40/2008
Germany, France, England or the U.S.: No matter where the guys show up - everywhere the same scenes: fans, who totally freak out, who scream the names Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) and Georg (21), who can sing the songs along. Many TH-fans go even further, making clear offers their darlings - for example on gross poster slogans: "F**k me through the monsoon" or "Tom, we want to give you a blow job" are almost harmless. In the fifth part of the great BRAVO-series, the boys reveal exclusively what there's real - between them and the fans.
BRAVO: What are you saying about the partial hard slogans of your fans?
TOM: I think it's cool, that our fans are so directly (grins).
BILL: That makes our fans. But to be honest: Initially, we were sometimes short of breath.
BRAVO: What were the most beautiful experiences so far with your fans?
BILL: The first gig after "Durch den Monsun" was published - and suddenly so many fans were singing the song along. The concert had even canceled, because the crowd was too big. This has overwhelmed me!
TOM: Just until we were in Mexico. Once we had about two hours to write autographs. The fans were so touched, and many have even cred, just because we were there. It was so gross. We were also previously been in the South American countries and didn't know, that we are so known. And suddenly there were thousands of people. It was really unbelievable.
BRAVO: Were there once really gross situations with fans?
TOM: Oh yes. In Madrid once the situation was out of control. Gustav went into his hotel room. But in his bed were already fans. They were fallen Gustav directly around his neck and he has become so frightened. At Bills and my room were already quite a lot in front of the door. They constantly knocked, they climbed up the fire brigade, have totally screamed.
BILL: Then suddenly the police appeared. They have entered the door and drag me out of the room. "Are you Bill Kaulitz?" they have screamed. Then they took my hands together, interrogated me and claimed that I was responsible for the chaos. The problem was: They couldn't speak English, they only spoke Spanish. I hardly understood anything. Then Tom tried to contact our security people. When they arrived, the matter could be resolved. The police really wanted to take me to their police station.
BRAVO: But here, the fans went too far, or?
BILL: Well, that was traumatic and violent.
TOM: But since we were holding on as a band - then it bothers us really not. That's just a part of it and makes us not be afraid or so. While it was already gross, but also actually funny again. But if we are at home, we're glad about tranquility. Then we're not giving autographs and taking photos. But if we're on the road, we're doing this for sure.
BRAVO: Were you already nasty to your fans?
TOM: So we would never be knowingly nasty to our fans. They are too important for us.
BILL: We certainly never wanted to do something nasty to them. We love them. But everyone has a bad day and looks bad. Sometimes we just couldn't give everyone an autograph. Then we're in stress and must continue to the next appointment. We're constantly on the road for our fans and we're for sure no assholes.
BRAVO: Hand on the heart - were there also some embarrassing moment with your fans?
TOM: Nope. Only once, a girl wanted to come with me to my hotel room and fell down on the way.
BILL: Or the scene at the airport: There were girls screaming "We want to f**k you" - right in the dead silence there. That was then embarrassing, but more for them.
BRAVO: Tom, how many groupies did you have had in your bed?
TOM: Hmmm, that's really difficult to say. I don't count.
BILL: Yeah, but he has such a clicker (laughs)!
TOM: What I can say, I had more often a woman in my bed than I was on the toilet (laughs loud). No, nonsense! Now seriously: I'm even become somewhat quieter.
BRAVO: That means ... ?
TOM: I still don't get it by myself - but perhaps with 19 I already rejected the horns. Not that sex would become boring. But I also prefer watching a DVD in the evening. The other is indeed very strenuous (grins). Meanwhile, I could even imagine something stronger. But the girl really would have to strike me.
BRAVO: And how about the groupies by Georg and Gustav? Are they so wildly like Tom?
TOM: As far as we know, there is nothing (laughs)!
BILL: There are no guys, which represent a girl. Gustav had at the beginning of our career a girlfriend. But even then was nothing more.
TOM: Georg is doing so as if he were a macho. But he prefers it, when she's offensive.
BILL: Inside, he's dirty but outwardly too shy.
TOM: You have to show him what's happening. There were for sure already some girls, who liked him and the other way too. But none did the first step. With me it's different - I belong to the hunters and collectors.
BRAVO: And what about you, Bill - there was still no kiss for you?
BILL: No, not yet. That totally makes me really sad. I'm 19 now and that's missing me completely. I'd really like to have a girlfriend, with whom I could share my life, whom understands everything, what I do. Although I have Tom. But I absolutely want a girlfriend.
BRAVO: But the offer is huge for you?
BILL: It's difficult to open yourself to someone. I have no time, I'm always on the road. When I meet on a after-show-party girls, I never know what they really want. I also see in the near future no way - that's bad. But I still have the music, this is my backup. And dogs are my substitutes. Sometime, I want to have many dogs. They make me happy.

"I admire Tokio Hotel"
What a flatter! The world star Nicole is animated with Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav!
Who would ever think of that? Nicole Sherzinger (30), singer of The Pussycat Dolls and a superstar said she was fan of a German band: Tokio Hotel!
Exclusively for a BRAVO interview, she confesses: "I totally admire the boys! They're amazing!" How did she ever pay attention to Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg? "At the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007 in Munich!" she tells excited. At the big event in last November, the four boys from Magdeburg met the American singer and chat at the After-Show-Party. In February, Nicole went to one of their concerts in Los Angeles/California. "The boys are great! I love their concerts!"
Now, they finally met again: at the MTV Video Music Awards 2008 in Los Angeles, where Tokio Hotel won the award for Best New Artist. Once again, the 30 year old was amazed with the boys "I think they're incredibly talented. The boys are so fresh, so different and young. That's really cool!" So cool that even makes the singer think about working with Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg: "I was once member of a rock band. So, I can imagine myself making a rock song with them!"
And what does the singer thinks about their career in America? Will they have this great success? "They've just been in the USA. However, they already have much success here. I'm very proud of them!" Wow - and that said by a Pussycat Doll!
Right now, she and her girls have success all over the world: with the single "when I grow up" from the new album "Doll Domination".
Maybe soon, Nicole will be at Top Ten with a new rock song, as co-singer of Tokio Hotel...

The Ramsus talks about Tokio Hotel
Interview:
Interviewer: What do you think about the band Tokio Hotel?
Lauri: We love them .... I think ... I don't know too much about this band ...
Interviewer: Are they big in Finland?
Lauri: Yeah! I think that they're quite huge in Finland. But there're only one thing that I know for sure that they stole our rift.
Interviewer: Which one?
Lauri: It's a song called "Spring Nicht", yeah... It's exactly like a rift in our song "Not Like the Other Girls"... Actually we got that from the fans... The Rasmus's fans . They send us... they made like a video where they edited those two songs after each other.
Interviewer: Very interesting...
Lauri: Yes! ... I wish all the best for the band.. I think they have a good atittude and... some talent to get very far.
This was nice said, don't you think so?

MTV Germany Interview
New T-shirt
Article
Tokio Hotel -- a foursome whose origins date back to 2001 -- are fronted by spiky-haired singer Bill Kaulitz, 19. His identical twin brother, Tom, is the band's guitarist.
Together with their slightly older rhythm section, Georg Listing and Gustav Schaefer, the brothers have sold almost 3 million CDs and DVDs, packing venues throughout Europe and Japan.
Girls in such countries as Poland and France are learning German in order to understand Bill Kaulitz's lyrics of teenage disaffection. In Israel, where editorial writers worried about the historical ramifications, tens of thousands of fans signed a petition to get Tokio Hotel to play in Tel Aviv last year, and the band obliged -- to a huge open-air crowd.
In the United States, the band's English-language album "Scream" peaked at No. 39 on the Billboard 200, and they won the fan-voted best new artist award at the MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood earlier this month. The Los Angeles Times described Tokio Hotel as a "young emo-glam outfit" who sound like "the Jonas Brothers covering Guns N' Roses."
Tokio Hotel owe their success to "the professional and meticulous work of a team of producers and managers who maintain control over their 'product' at all times," German music journalist Olaf Tost says.
"Bill Kaulitz, with his androgynous, vulnerable and yet energy-laden persona, is something of an emotional anchor in the sea of teenage angst for his fans," Tost adds.
One of the main members of the Tokio team, producer and co-writer David Jost, describes meeting Bill Kaulitz for the first time as a life-changing event. "I was 100% certain they were going to break the roof in Germany," he said. "I would have bet the whole German music and media industry on this. But of course I never expected this thing to take off internationally."
The U.S. fan base was built mostly via the Tokios' YouTube channel, updated with professionally made and English-subtitled videos at least once a week. The intro to the channel declares triumphantly, "It's only a matter of time before the hysteria follows them stateside."
"A band from Germany getting big all over Europe -- with the chance of even more -- that happens every 20 years, maximum," Jost says.
Tost is a bit more skeptical.
"They may have some temporary success in the U.S. But for the long term they might not have the 'special something' -- like (German hard rockers) Rammstein does -- that makes them different from other bands," he says.
New Album
There are two people, one from the Danish forum and one from THu's forum, that have written some things about the new album..
Danish fanclub info: (posted on th_cult on LiveJournal)
Hi fellow cult members :) I am posting this here, since I think some of you might wanna know haha. If its not allowed, please delete *__*
Anyways, its not a secret (to some maybe o_O), that I run and own the Danish fanclub (http://tokiohotelfanclub.dk/), and I have direct contact to the Danish division of Universal Music. Today, I got so sick and tired of ALL the rumours flying around online, so I called them, and asked them about what they know. So far, this is what they have been told from Tokio Hotel's management.
In november a new DVD will be released. It will be a combination between Live footage (probably from the european tour) and a lot of backstage material. It will be very simple, but with a lot of never-seen-before stuff :D!
About the new album, they have been told to not expect it before sometime in 2009.
This is what they know. You can question my source as much as you want, just thought I'd share what I know. I have no reason to lie about this, and many knows that I do have contact with TH's PR agent in Denmark (ask onverva lol).
I know some of this have been posted on the internet already, just confirming it, once and for all ^^

Some of you might have heard of the whole Iron Fist thing,
but now that the guys are actually being seen on their page it..s time for us to drop it for real =)
Lets take it from the beginning. This is what it..s about and how it all begun:
I emailed Iron Fist (a clothing brand Bill has been wearing ALOT lately in the US)
and informed them that Bill have been wearing their clothing for quite some time now,
and thought that they would want to know about it.
As I suspected, they had no knowledge of this,
and they were VERY happy to know about it!
They asked me if Bill or any other member would want to have more clothing from the brand,
and if so; they could have it.
So I contacted some ppl to ask if the band would want any more clothing from the brand, and they told me that; Yes, of course they want to =)
So now the cooperation is working on smoothly between Iron and TH.
So now when you can also see them on the Iron Fist Official Homepage, I thought it would be time to tell you the whole story!

Bill Out With His Girlfriend?
I myself am quite sure that he doesnt have ha girlfriend, but here are two articles about it. Do you think its true or not?
Tokio Hotel: Bill Kaulitz in a nightclub for the birthday of his girlfriend Ilayda? The rumour of the love story between Bill Kaulitz and Ilayda Gecim, a German teen of Turkish origin, restarts! Moving on to a love story! Denise, a fan of Tokio Hotel, has alerted us about the lovers going out to a nightclub in Berlin this weekend. The young Ilayda has celebrated her birthday in the past few days, it's party time!
Imagine that for your next birthday Bill Kaulitz invites you to go to a nightclub with the whole group! What would you think? And your friends?
Right now, Tokio Hotel are in Berlin to record their third album in studio.
Once again we thank Denise, a faithful reader, who alerted us about the existence of this famous Ilayda. See: Bill Kaulitz and his little friend! (translation below)
Thanks to the internet, Tokio Hotel fans react quickly. Don't hesitate on writing to us if you have some news to be published.
We welcome you to be a part of the news association "Tokio Hotel's Verband" (Tokio Hotel's Union), started on August 22nd by Gaelle, Noemie, Rachel, Amandie and Adeline. Good luck for them who want to develop Tokio Hotel's community. To contact them: [email protected]
Let's not forget that a group without news is a group that's dying! So, it doesn't matter if we're mean now and then!
Second article:
Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel has a little friend of Turkish origin.
There's a rumour all over the internet, and a Turkish reader of staragora who's in love with Bill Kaulitz and Tokio Hotel told us about it: Denise, 16 years old.
According to her, Bill Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel has been going out with Ilayda Gecim. She lives in Berlin but her origins are Turkish. She's 15 years old. The rumour started in 2007: Bill Kaulitz and Ilayda had probably met at an award event, "Comet 07". They were seen holding hands outside a club.
According to Denise, many of girls posed as the young Ilayda at blogs or forums, mostly Teemix and Ladiz... Denise says that's not Bill's little friend: Ilayda can't speak French. (...)

You've probably watched it so many times now that your brain's starting to feed on itself, but just in case you haven't reached that point yet, see Tokio Hotel's big VMA night from start to finish - from their big red carpet arrival to their big win - through "ihre augen." Vanity Fair voting
German Vanity Fair voting
As you may remember, Vanity Fair.de started a voting in August, to elect the 100 most influential Germans nowadays.
Of course Tokio Hotel were one of the nominees. At the beggining, the band was occupying the third position, which was a cool, but in the first week of September they were in the 97º position.
Luckely, they're up again in the 14º position.

Yes, it's true! Tokio Hotel are about to release their third album! Check what we found out... Yaay!
We were so excited to tell you this new! After Schrei and Zimmer 483 (both with English versions), the four boys are already working hard on the third album!!! And they promise to not disappoint us...
Sometimes a bad thing brings a good one...
This couldn't be more right... and Tokio Hotel know that well!!! You might remember that Bill had to stay four weeks non-speaking, after his throat surgery... Those were pretty hard days for him and for the band, and they even had to cancel many concerts (including the one in Lisbon). But it was also during that period that Bill started to write new songs, daily!! That period brought him a lot of inspiration, made him think a lot about life and, since he couldn't speak... he wrote! It was that moment of forced break what allowed the born of Tokio Hotel's «new baby»!
Other inspirations!
When they got back on the stages (with the european and american tour), Bill continued on writting... Visiting new countries and meeting different people also brought him so much inspiration! «Bill comes constantly to me with new ideas for songs», says their manager and producer David Jost. «I think that Bill's lyrics are mostly a mix of missing things. We wished to be at home and, at the same time, he always wants to move on.» How sweet...
Little notes!
Bill is constantly having ideas for lyrics and musics, and he write them immediately. «Bill fills up with lyrics each blank space on a piece of paper, that he keeps in his pocket. Mostly of them have an hotel logo on it. He's a little chaotic and has already lost some of this papers. But, unfortunately, he's not interested on writting the ideas on his laptop» says David Jost. Each one works at his own way, lol!
New style!
We also found out that Tokio Hotel are thinking about changing their style a bit. «I want to include songs with new influences and surprise people», Tom said. How cool!!!
[Red Box] Faithful to the origins They're singing in German again
Tokio Hotel are super happy with their success in the USA and in Europe, but they want to keep faithful to their origins and they'll continue on singing in German. Even because it's with the mother tongue that Bill writes better and the fans identify themselves with the songs in German. «The fans want to be as close as possible to Bill. So, they want to understand the texts in German», says the band manager.
News from Vivendi about the new album.

NEWS : Is Bill Kaulitz suffering an eating disorder?
Bill Kaulitz - The stress is consuming him..
The teenie idol is skinnier than ever. Is the Tokio Hotel singer suffering and eating disorder?
Hanging pants and hollow cheeks: In recent photos Bill Kaulitz looks unhealthily skinny that one question comes to surface: Is he anorexic? The Tokio Hotel star denies such: "Don't worry about my eating habits." Apparently he shovels down mounts of fast food, noodle casseroles and milk rice. But his reassurance over such back fires. Because: "It's typical for anorexics to deny their illness." Explains Dr. Thomas Kurscheid, a nutritional physician. "Sufferers have a warped body perception - they believe they're too fat." However, the 19 year old claims that he only weighs 50 kilos - too little for someone with the height of 1.77 m.
His underweight can also be from nature Bill: "I was always so skinny!" or a reaction to the stressful life in the limelight, the results of energy taking performances and tours. However, the expert assumes it's a psychological problem: "Bill's life is controlled from managers. No wonder that he at least wants to keep the control over his own weight..."

Experts are sure that only a complete shift to the USA can guarantee our four Magdeburger boys the long waited for international success!
"For a world career it is really important," tells music expert Thomas Stein (59). "They have to be present at all times. That's what the fans demand. They want to have their stars near. Otherwise the euphoria will go away pretty quickly."
"Tokio Hotel" don't make a secret of the fact that they feel happy in the States. In New York they surprised thousands of fans early this year with their concerts.
Will MTV success trap the band in the US forever? Bill&Co showed more than once that they are excited about this American adventure. After the whole tour stress the boys want to go back home to Germany.
Bill to Bild: "I can't imagine living anywhere else than Germany right now. In the last three years so many things have happened. Everything is just like a dream."
The rockstar thinks really calm about it: "All the travelling is printed in my thoughts," Bill tells: "It's just that awesome. I am happy about every single day, that I can sleep in my own bed."
Tom smiles: "My little brother is homesick. He is only talking about his own bed in Germany."
So: First it's bye-bye USA, Hello Germany. Tomorrow the band is flying back home.
Bravo
The night before they went with there bandmates Georg and Gustav and there team to Restaurant The Ivy in West Hollywood for dinner. After that they celebrated on the roof of there hotel until midnight and the time of there birthday. There actual birthday they only spend together! Without the crew or manager and even without Georg and Gustav the boys relaxed at the beach of Santa Monica/ California. Tom relaxed with his dreads down and naked upper body next to his brother, who was despite the weather still wearing his black clothes. Together the relaxed in there chairs, caught some sunlight or just walked down the beach - and off course they did it all together. "Actually, we do everything together. The only thing now is going to the toilet, taking a bad or shower", Bill laughs. But then he gets serious again; "I always imagine the following situation: We are standing on the edge of a cliff and a voice says; one of you has to jump and can never come back. We would jump together. A hundred percent sure...

Panic Liked TH’s VMA Entrance
You Tokio Hotel fans glued to your TVs last Sunday during the VMAs? You weren't the only ones wowed by Tokio Hotel's big red carpet entrance atop a "loud," "dangerous" monster truck.
Panic At the Disco, pictured above in a photo I snapped on my BlackBerry on the VMA back lot, arrived early (more on their arrival and how Sway tracked everyone via the Swaychopper and the magical <strike>stalking</strike> tracking powers of VehiclePath GPS at the Newsroom blog) and caught a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Tokio Hotel getting primped for their arrival and getting into position on their VMA monster truck.
And how do I know this? Because Ryan Ross blogged about it on Panic's new blog, We're So Blogging, which you should go read. I just bookmarked it. I know I just did!
Check out VMA video footage of Panic At the Disco checking in with Sway from inside their 16-passenger van in the VMA limo line, and then watch Tokio Hotel's subtle, subdued VMA arrival for the umpeen billionf time.

New Album Almost Finished?
In the next weeks the third studio album of the band should be
finished, said manager David Jost in an interview. Singer Bill Kaulitz
explains that he especially looks forward to being able to sleep in:
"I won't wake up early once in the entire phase.". Furthermore, Bill
says, he hates waking up early. Therefore during the production phase,
everything will go by his sleep schedule: "So we begin first in the
evening and work late into the night." "Tokio Hotel" are nominated for
4* MTV Latin American Awards. The German band can win in October, for
example, the award in the category "Newcomer of the Year".

German Pop Sensation Tokio Hotel Wins MTV Video Music Award
Angsty German teen pop band Tokio Hotel won the best newcomer award at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday Sep. 7 for their post-apocalyptic style music video for the song Ready, Set, Go!
The quartet's win as the only male and only non-American nominees in their category came as a surprise to the young musicians.
"I can't describe in any words what we're feeling right now," singer Bill Kaulitz said, thanking the band's fans worldwide.
Since Tokio Hotel was formed in Magdeburg in 2001, the quartet of Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schaefer have enjoyed much success in their native Germany, wirth four number one singles and two chart-topping albums, selling nearly five million CDs and DVDs.
Tokio Hotel released their first album "Schrei" (Scream) in May 2006 and sold some 600,000 copies in six days in Germany. It also quickly became a major success in France, Austria and Switzerland.
Persistent pop disaster doll Britney Spears stole the MTV show, however, winning awards in all three categories she was nominated in: video of the year, best pop video and best female video. The row of awards marked a comeback after her disastrous performance at last year's VMAs.
Ever growing international success
After starting to sing more in English, Tokio Hotel's international popularity has been growing rapidly with large fan bases in other European countries, particularly in France and Belgium.
The award marks the band's growing success in North America, reaching 39 in the official US billboard charts and climbing as high as sixth place in the Canadian charts. That makes Tokio Hotel one of the few German bands to enjoy such international success.
Tokio Hotel is well known for what some describe as shrewd marketing tactics -- playing on the singer's androgynous look, the band members' young ages and edgy hairstyles to reach icon status among many teenage girls.
As well as singing more in English, the band has recently adopted a more serious "emo" image, which is reflected in their now award-winning video depicting a mass of soulless people marching in uniforms -- apparently the victims of a dystopic regime.
The VMA award is already being seen as a potential breakthrough for the band to further success in America. Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Bill Kaulitz said: "We don't expect it, so for us, it's so cool to be nominated. I think it's really, really special for us -- it's America and it's our first American award and that's so huge."
The youngsters showed they are getting used to the international pop-star lifestyle when they turned up for the awards on a monster truck, though they were upstaged by rapper T-Pain who arrived on elephant accompanied by various circus performers.

Back to the US in November??
FAZ, a very reliable German newspaper, has posted a new article claiming that Universal Music plans to send Tokio Hotel back to the United States in November for another tour. This is because after winning a VMA on Sunday, Universal decided to put a lot more money and effort into promoting Tokio Hotel in America, the biggest and toughest market in the world. To read the translated article by Peki of our forums, look below the break.
Just a note for Canadian and Mexican fans that visit our website, I wouldn't expect to see any concert dates because the effort is really on the US, but anything could happen.
UPDATE: Fans in Québec, Canada are reporting that today one of the hosts on their radio station, CKOI, said that Tokio Hotel would be returning to Montreal in November. So, there may be hope for Canadian fans!
An unexpected award from MTV has given Universal Music a boost in their efforts to establish the German teen band Tokio Hotel in America. The sales numbers of Tokio Hotel's music in the American online music store iTunes have climbed steadily over the past few days, on Tuesday, their album ‘Scream' was at position 19 in the charts. On Sunday, the band won the ‘Best New Artist' award at the annual MTV Video Music Awards.
Universal launched a campaign this year to make the band a success in the US, too. "The American market is the largest in the world, so we're investing more money to establish Tokio Hotel there than in any other country," the head of Universal Germany, Frank Briegmann, told our newspaper. It's a daring experiment, because the US is said to be a tough market in which few strangers become stars, especially if they're not from English-speaking countries. One of the few real, big German successes was singer Nena with her song ‘99 Red Balloons' in 1983. But Universal felt encouraged by Tokio Hotel's great success in other countries to try their luck in the US. Tokio Hotel had their breakthrough in Germany in 2005 and landed hits in countries like France and Poland soon after.
This spring, the band released their first English record, ‘Scream', in America and made it to position 39 in the Billboard charts. Sales went back a bit after that, which Briegmann claims to have anticipated from the start: "More effort and work is required in America. We knew that from the beginning." Briegmann feels reassured by online sales numbers after the award now, and hopes that the album will return to the Billboard charts. According to him, Tokio Hotel have sold 105000 records so far; Briegmann hopes it'll be 500000, ultimately. To keep up a steady presence, Universal wants to send Tokio Hotel back on their third American tour this November. Briegmann states that because of the focus on America, other of the band's target markets like Asia will have to wait a little longer.

VMA 2008: Message from Tokio Hotel!
Bill
BUNTE.DE
A ferocious come back for Britney Spears at the 25th Mtv Award show, where she won all 3 categories,in which she was nominated.
The German Teenie band Tokio Hotel was chosen as best newcomer.
"Tokio Hotel was completely blown away and astonished and went bezerk" explained manager David Jost through the phone after the VMA awards.
Tom in the background said thet the first thing they were going to do was get completely drunk and waisted doesn´t matter if you need to be 21 in the US to do that "this night belongs to us" Tom screamed.
"They are going to clebrate peacefully " David Jost said "they´re such sweet boys"
In the room the boys are completely going crazy, it is the first time in the history of the MTV awards that a German band is nominated twice and win, leaving Miley Cyrus, Kate Perry, Jordan Sparks and Taylor Swift far behind them.
It was unbelieveable, already the entrance was a spectacle with Tokio Hotel arriving in their monstertruck with their logo painted at large to enter the red carpet.
The nicest birhday present in the world
With" Ready set go" blasting through the entrance of the legendary Paramount Studios a US reporter was asking who these totally crazy boys were,"You can spot their truck when you're standing on the moon" he said.
In America Tokio Hotel has fans, but on the red carpet they were completely new for the local media, everyone talked about Bills hair; "Its real" Bill said with the biggest smile ever.
"We were absolutely not nervous because we did not expect to win at all" said Tom to the Bunte reporter, "We were only looking forward to the fact that our name would be mentioned in the same category as Miley Cyrus" Gustav added.
The award by the way could only be achieved by fans actually voting in.
"We are looking forward to see Pink".
Beside Gustav its also Bill and Tom celebrating their birthday on the first of September in Los Angeles.
"We have been relaxing and taking it easy on the beach of Santa Monica, enjoying the sea, watching the waves roll in and hanging out with Gustav and Georg" explained Bill.
"What do you think of the double nomination"?,
"We are so incredibly proud, its a tremendous honour for us being here on the red carpet, we couldn´t have imagined this even in our wildest dreams, words cannot explain the way I feel and everything I say is not enough to express my gratitude" Bill explains.
"Its a big daring step from Europe to the USA and really hard work, but we feel fairly well "Tom says.
"We are looking forward to seeing Pink perform tonight" , In the meantime the Pussycat Dolls come in to congatulate the boys " we love these boys", head Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger screams.
"We're taking a break"
In the upcoming days one show is left and that´s at the Jimmy Kimmel Show after that it's off to Germany."We are going to finalize the recording of our new album, create new things, and be creative again"
"We are drawing back from publicity, for we have been on the road non-stop for 3 years and now its time to take a break" explained Bill
The fans will be sad.
"How do you explain your succes in the US"
"We have been thinking about that for a long time but stopped trying to find explanations, think we have been extremely lucky and are very grateful for that" replied Bill.
Than its party time, after the VMA at the MTV party its of to the Interscope Party in Santa Monica.
Congratulations!!!

Reviewer Love from Denver Colorado
September 7th, Somewhere in the Northeastern United States - Nina, the 16 year old photographer and artist from Portugal is watching the Video Music Awards on MTV, while I work at a mind-numbing and low paying online job, watching the little TV out of the corner of my eye. Nina's mother sits in the living room, watching the final stretch of a two day "House" marathon on USA network, as addicted to the good doctor's antics as Dr. House is addicted to his Vicodin. I'm living a "surreal life," for real.
Our mission tonight is to catch Tokio Hotel on MTV. We know they'll be there, the rumor is that they will present an award to another act. But to our shock and delight, Tokio Hotel won best new artist, over a some other very pretty and talented competitors, including Myley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
My last music review was seriously flawed; I used the date "September 25th," when Tokio Hotel's Denver show actually took place on August 25th. This might lead the reader to conclude that I have delusions of supernatural powers. Sadly, I have no such prescience, and I'm well aware that I can't report on whatever Tokio Hotel is doing in October today. However, I was able to see this much clearly: these kids have a fanatical American fan base, and they are well on their way to superstardom in the US market.
Unfortunately, the acceptance of the award by Tokio Hotel's glamorous and slightly shy lead singer Bill Kaulitz was all that we got from MTV.
Sure, there were other high points: Rihanna's performance gave me chills, Pink's video had me distracted from my work, and a collaboration by Kid Rock and Lil' Wayne on some original lyrics performed over a bizarre segue of the music of Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" into a tribute to Skynyrds "Sweet Home Alabama," cracked me up; the thing is, all of the aforementioned artists have been getting their fair share of MTV coverage for quite a while now.
Tokio Hotel has been around for a long time, but apparently has remained obscure to the US market. This will no longer be the case. They are young, pop-friendly yet hard-edged, and downright weird, reportedly (by MTV) showing up for the awards ceremony in a monster truck. This was an appropriate gesture for what the future holds; these kids are going places, and will roll right over their tired out tabloid fodder American competition.

Tokio Hotel talks fashion - Bill’s piercing
Tokio Hotel on Swedish MTV
And here is the transcript.
MTV: So the VMA is just around the corner..Are you excited?
Bill: Really excited, and really, really nervous. I didn't sleep anything last night. It was just terrible. I was just thinking about everything. And...yeah, we're proud to be nominated and to be there.
MTV: And if you win how will you celebrate?
Bill: I think we'll celebrate anyway...
Tom: Yeah, you know for us it's good to be nominated so we'll celebrate anyway. ..
Bill & Tom (at the same time): ...the nomination...
Tom: Yeah the nomination. We celebrate the nomination.
Bill: yes
Tom: because you know we have no big chance...It's good to be here. Our part is very small you know. Bill's nervous about..you know just about red carpet.
Bill: (giggles) I'm nervous just to be there
MTV: I'll be nice to you guys on the red carpet. If you promise to talk to me.
Georg: Thank you very much.
MTV: I often..actually every week I get emails about you from my viewers. Sometimes they are very nice sometimes they are not very nice. Usually they are very nice. usually they are like "Please I wanna see more of TH" and sometimes it is "Why the F do you not show more videos?". I would like to know, is this something you urge your fans to do or is it soemthing that just happens?
Bill. It just happens. I think it just happens.
MTV: But why only with you? Why do you have such hardcore fans?
Bill: I don't know. We're just proud of them...I have no reason for that......
Tom: We have the best fans in the world....and you know, we...
Bill: If i take a look at Georg I don't know...
Tom: Yeah...
Bill: I don't know but it is great...We go there and we're proud of our fans and everything
Part 2:
MTV: Cause I want the same kind of fans but they are not...
Tom. I think you have, you have good fans
Bill: I mean our fans...
MTV: Could we be eachothers' fans now?
(everyone babbling over eachother so I don't think they hear the reporter)
Bill. I think our fans are the best fans in the world, so noone else can have(?) them.
MTV: So you're nervous for tomorrow... how will you prepare for your thing tomorrow?
Bill. I need some sleep so I'll go early to bed...and..yeah sleeping, and chilling at the pool.
Tom: Reading, eating, relaxing and stuff like that¨
MTV: When are you coming to Scandinavia?
Bill: I don't know. I mean our schedule is very very full and our trip is very long in America and it was not planned so after this we go back directly back to Germany and to the studio and we'll record new stuff and everything for the next record, and we're still at the creative process so we have a lot of stuff to do and yeah...
Tom: For the next tour I think we definitely will come over and play some concerts and stuff like that.
MTV: Thank you. They'll be much nicer to me after hearing this.

Tokio Hotel - Loud and Dangerous at Paramount
Video
Here is a transcript by dropthetacos!
Tom: Hey Buzzworthy, we are
All: Tokio Hotel
Tom: and we just finished our rehearsals for tomorrow for the VMAs and now we are ready and we, uhm, go back to the hotel, and it was good and I think the next day will be more than good.
Buzzworthy: What are you guys gonna do tonight? Back at the hotel?
Bill: I think we just go back to the hotel and sleeping or chilling at the pool. I don't know, because, uhm, yeah. We need- we really need to sleep because we're so tired and worked the whole day, so ehm, I think, ehm, yeah. It's important to, you know, get some power for the VMAs tomorrow.
Tom: Just relaxing, sleeping eating, stuff like that.
Bill: Yeah.
Tom: We are ready!
Buzzworthy: Cool. Uhm. Who are you guys excited to see tomorrow on the red carpet?
Bill: I really want to see Pink. I mean, she has an awesome voice and I really love her songs and she's performing her new single (?), so...
Tom: But I don't know if we meet somebody at the red carpet, I think it's -
Bill and Tom: more backstage (twin moment)
Tom: or more aftershow party, or something like that.
Buzzworthy: Give me a clue about what you guys are going to wear tomorrow...
Bill: OH! I have no idea right now!
Tom: But I think it's, it's, you know... nothing special.
Bill: No, I think I wake up and then I think, "Okay, what I can wear now", put all my bags (?), and let's see. I don't know.
Buzzworthy: Bill are you gonna do something different to you hair?
Bill: NO!
Buzzworthy: No. Definitely not.
Bill: No, I wake up with this hair, and I go to bed with this hair, so...
Tom: He's born with it, so...
Buzzworthy: Excellent. What have you guys been doing since you've been in LA? What are some of the things you guys have gone to see?
Bill: Oh, Tom and me, we had our birthday in Los Angeles.
Tom: *repeats Bill*
Buzzworthy: Oh right!
Bill: on the first of September. And we were at the beach, and at the pool, and just relaxing with George and Gustav, and...
Tom: Then we had some radio promotion with KISS FM, and stuff like that,
Bill: and we did a signing session.
Buzzworthy: Yeah, at Hot Topic, right?
Bill and Tom: Yeah, Hot Topic.
Tom: We had a small gig, and we played three songs, and yeah. *clap*
Buzzworthy: Did you get any weird fan gifts today? know you had a lot of fans there...
Bill: Oh, everyone send Skittles, you know? (Tom: Yeah...) Because we love Skittles, and now we have... I dont know, 800 pack of Skittles. It's crazy.
Buzzworthy: Cool, uh, any sort of clue... I know there's a big entrance, I know you cant say what it is...
Bill: We can say it is huge,
Georg: It's dangerous,
Bill: Dangerous, and loud, and I think it will be fun

Tokio Hotel 'Don't Expect' To Snag Best New Artist VMA From The Ladies
'We have no chance,' frontman Bill Kaulitz says of band's two nominations.
Tokio Hotel are the only males to be nominated for Best New Artist at this year's Video Music Awards - they are also the only foreign act contending for the prize. Maybe that will give them the edge, but the guys are quite shy about their chances of snagging a Moonman at Sunday's big show.
"We don't expect it, so for us, it's so cool to be nominated," frontman Bill Kaulitz told MTV News. "I think it's really, really special for us - it's America and it's our first American award, and that's so huge."
The German pop-rockers are up against American pop stars like Jordin Sparks and Miley Cyrus, but back in Germany, the guys are the megastars. They've sold millions of records in their home country and scored several #1 hits since they got together in 2001. Being crowned Best New Artist in front of an American audience would only solidify their fame here in the United States.
Just because they're rock stars back home doesn't mean they don't appreciate being nominated for a VMA. "I mean, I still can't believe it," Bill said. "Last year we were nominated at the [MTV Europe Music Awards; they won one] and it was the biggest thing we had, and now it is the Video Music Awards.
"It's really hard to get fans in another country, especially here - America is so, so big, so it's really hard to get known in this country," Bill told MTV News back in May. "We are so excited we have fans here at all. In America, we see a fan and it is like, 'Oh, we are proud! We have a fan in America!' "
But with a couple of VMA nominations on their side, it seems that now they have more than just one fan in the States. Guitarist Tom Kaulitz added, "To be nominated at the VMAs, for a German band, I think it's crazy."
The guys also have a chance to pick up the Best Pop Video trophy for "Ready, Set, Go!" Of going up against the likes of the Jonas Brothers, Bill modestly said, "We have no chance." But one thing he does hope he has a chance of doing is meeting Rihanna at the big show on Sunday. "I think it would be so cool to meet Rihanna, 'cause she's so sexy."
Now that you've helped us pick the nominees for this year's Video Music Awards, head to VMA.MTV.com to vote for your favorite in the Best New Artist category, check out the latest additions to the performer and presenter lineups, see the best (and worst) of VMA fashion and much more. Then tune in this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET for MTV News' "Opening Act" on the red carpet, followed by the big show, live from Hollywood at 9 p.m. ET.

Belarus celebrates Durch Den Monsun birthday!
We rocked Minsk!
In August 15, 2008 Belarusian Tokio Hotel FanClub were celebrating its favorite Band with the 3rd Birthday in "Fabrique" club (Minsk, Belarus).
There were about 70 Belarusian Tokio Hotel Fans together in the club. The Fans from different cities of our country (Minsk, Grodno, Brest, Borisov, Bobruisk, Gomel, Slonim, Novopolotsk) moved to the club to have a great time! Belarusian FanClub also met the girl from Russia.
Crazy dances, live music, Tokio Hotel songs...
Belarusian Fans could see the performance.
Two girls from Borisov, Yana and Tanya, presented their variants of Tokio Hotel songs.
We also were glad to hear the girlsband from Brest "Jamaica House". Three girls presented their own songs in English.
Belarusian Fans could hear live guitar sounds from two boys from Minsk - Juriy and Dminriy.
The article about Belarusian Tokio Hotel FanClub in the Belarusian teenager magazine "The Style of Life" became the most important surprise for us!
So, the video and the photos from the Party will be sent to Tokio Hotel as presents with the words of our real big LOVE!

TOKIO HOTEL GETS A VMA UPGRADE
No, don't worry. Tom didn't shave his head. The latest update from VMA HQ here inside the Crosby Building at the Paramount is that Tokio Hotel will be presenting an award at the 2008 VMAs! Viva la Deutschland, y'all!
Also, another little tidbit McNugget for you: Tokio Hotel is going to be pulling up to the VMA red carpet in a most outlandish set of wheels. No, not a Maybach. Think American... Very American... And it's not the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, though that could be the greatest image ever.
Watch the VMA pre-show at 8pm to see what your all-time favorite German band rolls up in.

RU Bravo #34 - The twins are 19! No longer boys!
Very soon, on September 1, we will be celebrating the 19th birthday of the Kaulitz twins. But for now, let's take a look at all the events that have taken place recently in the life of Tokio Hotel.
Success and Achievements
Bill Kaulitz has everything necessary for a successful career: talent, a look, money, the love of the fans. But there is one thing missing for the total happiness of every young man - a good car! This month Bill finally got his driver's license and immediately bought a luxurious, silver convertible from BMW, for almost 100 000 Euros.
Aside from that, the group is among the nominees for the MTV VMAs in the "Best New Artist" category. This, yet again, proves that the boys are successfully conquering the Unites States and are already quite popular in this country. You can vote for the guys on MTV's official website (mtv.com). The Award show is very soon- on September 7.
This month, Tokio Hotel is also celebrating another important event: exactly three years ago, the August of 2005, the single "Durch Den Monsun" was released, which made Tokio Hotel known to the world. With that song started the band's history. And with that song these boys changed the world of music forever.
Indecent Proposal
The twins are getting older, which means, that the scandals, that they are sometimes involved in, are getting bigger too. Not that long ago, a few girls declared that Bill spends the nights in different online chatrooms, using his big name and fame to get the girls to send him naked pictures. But we know that Bill would never dare to take advantage of the love of his fans, with such low behaviour. The police did an investigation and caught an 18-year-old Frenchman, who, for few weeks was posing on the internet as Bill Kaulitz and making the girls believe that he really is the "real" Bill. During the contact with the girls, the false-Bill was very friendly and caring, so it took awhile to find out about the fraud. But the Frenchman took too much advantage of Bill's fans, and this brought about hard consequences. At first the girls were nervous to send the poser their naked pictures. They were suspicious, but still sent the photos. Finally, the law enforcements were able to trace the guy and found him in a small town in France. With him, they found many photographs of naked girls in erotic positions. The police were in shock, when they found out that some of the girls were only 11-years-old. Now the dude will have to pay a large fine. When we contacted Bill for a comment about the event, he assured us and all of his fans, that neither he nor anyone else from the group ever were and ever will be at these online chatrooms. They just don't have the time.

New Album?
It has been rumoured for a long time that the boys are recording a new album for a long time now. And it's true, Bill writes new songs almost every day. But no date is set yet and their popularity in the US risks delays in the recordings. What is comfirmed is that the album is going to be in German.

X Begun their 2nd tour in the US. The guys sold out in, amongst other places, Chicago

Dressed like a vampire on Halloween once? After that he decided to look that way every day.
He didn't know what anime was when he created his look.
Has maredreams that he sleeps too late and misses an important meeting?

How Tokio Hotel prepare for the MTV Awards
It´s the time on Sunday it is so far: In Los Angeles the MTV Awards will take place. And Tokio Hotel are nominated in the category „Best New artist".
Big tension!
Since a few days Tom and Bill Kaulitz (19) are already in the film glitter town. You may think, 'Who works, must also relax'. So the boys chill a bit on the beach of Los Angeles.
But why do they wear so much? Tom dares, at least, a little and shows his upper part of the body. And - wow! - what´s that? The guitarist has a right Sixpack! Well, however, with this view his female fans will be happy. However, Bill keeps himself more covered. But later he splashed with his feet in the sea. Before the party is after the party.
Tom is very hot there :D And Bill cute ;)

TOKIO HOTEL ARE SORRY FOR UPSETTING THEIR FANS
When they knew that a lot of their disappointed fans had destroyed cds and posters in protest of not getting the promised autograph, the band members of Tokio Hotel just smiled in surprise.
"It wasn't our intention to upset anybody. WE're very sorry, but we were told that everything went according to what was planned", said lead singer Bill Kaulitz in press conference yesterday.
According to the germans, they didn't know that about 800 people with bracelets didn't get an autograph on last friday night in Plaza Cuicuilco.
That's why they never got offended by the fact that their fans booed when they left, saying that they didn't know that the record store Mixup had assured the fans the band would sign 2000 autographs.
The truth is that the store gave out that amount of bracelets and that in the event there were fans that traveled from other states of the country just to see the band and get an autograph.
When the band reached 1200 autographs, their security guard decided that it was time to leave.
When they knew that Tokio Hotel had left, some teenagers and their parents started to tear the cover of the Scream cd, while others went to the store to demand their money back.
Around 600 people caused the movilization of 20 security people inside the plaza, because they were pounding over the crystal doors of the store.
"Our record label (Universal Music) said that there were only 50 people left, not that many!! (800) We are very sorry about this incident, we thank our fans for all the love they've given us," said Bill's twin brother, Tom, in their encounter with the mexican press.
