Vote4Rick: There are several reasons. First, Rick is a great artist. He's deserving of the award because of what "Never Gonna Give You Up" has become for the Internet community. It's an anthem of harmless fun. Second, apart from U2 and Rick, none of the other artists could be classified as "Best Act Ever." If we were being serious for a second, there would be acts like The Beatles and The Stones, but instead we have Britney Spears and Tokio Hotel? It's a sham. I've been involved in this from the very beginning, even with the nomination campaign, so it would be a shame to see all that work by people go to waste.

New Album Design Themes

The new Themes feature on Photobucket enables users to go beyond sharing and storing their photos and videos and allows users to completely customize their Photobucket experience. Users can choose from hundreds of pre-made themes in categories such as holidays, entertainment, sports, nature, art, travel and more. In addition, musical artist Tokio Hotel and others will be providing custom themes for their fans.

Lead singer Bill Kaulitz said, "The Internet is so important for us as we keep in touch with fans all over the world, so we're excited about our new Photobucket Theme and we hope fans love it."

Alongside pre-made themes, Photobucket users can create a custom theme by:

-- Changing the background image by choosing from a variety of pre-made options or by selecting an image already in their Photobucket album

-- Selecting border styles for photo and video thumbs

-- Choosing the color palette of the theme

-- Customizing the share and link options in the album

-- Sharing their designs for other Photobucket users to use

Themes can be added to individual albums and to Group Albums and will appear to a visitor when viewing an entire album, an individual photo or video and when photos or albums are shared. Exclusive to Photobucket, Group Albums enable convenient access for multiple people to share and view photos to a single album.

Tokio Hotel's album "Scream" is now featured on iTunes in the "Rising Stars of Alt Rock" section. Yay!

Trustworthy sources assure that there has been contact between Colombian businessmen and the German band, that won Best New Artist at the VMA's, to come and give a concert in our country (Colombia), the tour would be programmed for the first trimester of 2009, besides having a DVD of their live hits released in the next days.

Tokio Hotel (previously Devilish) it's a young German band with a pop rock style conformed by Bill Kaulitz (vocals), Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer(drums).

The group was founded in 2001 by the name Devilish, although it was changed for Tokio Hotel when they signed a contract with Sony in 2003. The first album was finally edited in 2005, after signing a contract with Universal. This album sold various millions of copies just in Germany, and quickly gained fame in Austria, Switzerland and other European countries. With 9 platinum albums and 4 golden albums in Germany, they're the most successful band. Their first album Schrei and the second Zimmer 483 (released in 2007), have been put together in another album Scream, with the English version of their German songs, designed especially for the Anglo-Saxon public. In 2007 the band sold about 1 500 000 albums.

One of my very favey Buzzworthy commenters/ frequent "first"ers is tokio_charlotte, who, like me, likes Tokio Hotel, thumbdrives (I have a preposterous amount of them and just got a Little Britain one in the mail this morning. yay!), nail polish, and, most importantly, the Internet. But I also like her for reasons less selfish than the fact that we share the same impeccable taste. I also <3 tokio_charlotte because she emailed me an excellent rundown of her most favorite unofficial couples of the 2008 VMAs. And all she got was a lousy Moonman t-shirt. Thanks again, Charlotte! Top of the list: Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. Sure, Travis McCoy has dibs on Katy romantically, and Miley hates (and likes) "7 Things" about someone who may or may not be Nick Jonas, but Katy and Miley take the prize for Cutest Unofficial Couple. Katy and her mysterious "Special Guest" were all smiles and "feud? what feud?" on the red carpet. Though Katy did not get a taste of Miley's vanilla ChapStick® this time around, the fact that they both lost out to Tokio Hotel for Best New Artist can't hurt future chances. (I wouldn't expect more MyCy/TH Rock Band sessions anytime soon, unfortunately).

Second up is Tom Kaulitz and Nicole Scherzinger. Though this couple only exists in Tom's dreams, Nicole's gush about Tokio Hotel at the VMAs post-show says she's not exactly creeped out by his crush. Don't know if Tom's dream of a Tokio Hotel/Pussycat Dolls tour will happen, but let's not rule anything out.

And the third cutest couple? Maybe-Not-So-Crazy-Anymore Britney and her Moonman(s)! Girlfriend went from trainwreck "OMG did you see her" - in a bad way - to dazzling "OMG did you see her" - in the best way. Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Video of the Year, and Most Searched Person? Love it. Here's to hoping that things continue on the up on and up, and that next year's VMAs are going to be even better.

Anyways, its not a secret (to some maybe o_O), that I run and own the Danish fanclub (http://tokiohotelfanclub.dk/), and I have direct contact to the Danish division of Universal Music. Today, I got so sick and tired of ALL the rumours flying around online, so I called them, and asked them about what they know. So far, this is what they have been told from Tokio Hotel's management.

In november a new DVD will be released. It will be a combination between Live footage (probably from the european tour) and a lot of backstage material. It will be very simple, but with a lot of never-seen-before stuff :D!

About the new album, they have been told to not expect it before sometime in 2009.

This is what they know. You can question my source as much as you want, just thought I'd share what I know. I have no reason to lie about this, and many knows that I do have contact with TH's PR agent in Denmark (ask onverva lol).

I know some of this have been posted on the internet already, just confirming it, once and for all ^^

1. TOKIO HOTEL HAVE 2 STUDIOS... The studio that all we know near Hamburg isn't their main studio. And one reason why they changed it is because of more and more fans that know the address of it. I DON'T know where is main studio. But they will be in other studio definitely more than one week.

2. ALBUM WOULDN'T BE OVER BEFORE DECEMBER!!!! They are working really hard. And they want that album is really PERFECT!!!

3. PARTY WILL BE DEFINITELY IN GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it for sure. But I don´t know in what city.

On the Billboard's Modern Rock Chart Tokio Hotel's album Scream is in place 25! Quite good :]
Tokio Hotel's song Scream is now also on the Billboard Top 100, but right now they are in place 96. But they are so good they will find their way up I hope, don't you?
